Support at Home is an Australian Government-funded aged care program designed
to help older people live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes
through personalised care, practical assistance, equipment, and home modifications
tailored to their assessed needs.
What does Support at

It also includes services that support culturally safe care, such as
help to join in cultural activities and access to Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander health practitioners and health workers.
How much Funding do I receive?
Each participant receives one of 8 funding classifications for ongoing services. Their
classification is determined in their aged care assessment.
You will work with participants to spend this amount on care and services in
the Support at Home service list, according to their assessed needs.

While the Australian Government provides significant funding for
your care, many participants contribute to the cost of their
services.
Your contribution levels are determined by a financial
assessment conducted by Services Australia. This ensures that
